1. Who We Are

Ummah Media Corporation ("Ummah Media", "we", "us", or "our") is an AI-first marketing agency and training institute based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We operate digital services for clients, contractors, team members, and students.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve our services.

  • Account information, such as name, email address, role, company, and contact details.
  • Authentication data, such as magic-link tokens, verification codes, session metadata, and device session records.
  • Agency workflow data, such as agreements, invoices, tasks, project briefs, deliverables, messages, files, and approvals.
  • App data, such as push notification tokens, app version, operating system, and crash or diagnostic details when enabled.
  • Optional location data, used only to show accurate prayer times when you grant foreground location permission.

3. How We Use Information

  • To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
  • To deliver agency, contractor, training, and client portal workflows.
  • To send requested notifications, messages, invoices, agreements, and project updates.
  • To comply with accounting, tax, contract, and legal obligations.
  • To maintain, debug, and improve our products and services.

We do not sell personal information, use personal data for ad tracking, or train AI models on private client, contractor, or student content without explicit permission.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate our business, when required by law, or as part of a business transfer. Providers may include hosting, database, email, payment, analytics, and file-storage services. They are expected to protect the data they process for us.

5. Where Data Lives

Data is stored with our hosting and infrastructure providers. Some providers may process or store data outside Canada, including in the United States. We use contractual and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information across borders.

6. How Long We Keep Information

  • Account and contract records are kept while an account is active and as required for legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
  • Project files, messages, and deliverables are kept while the related engagement is active and for a reasonable archive period after completion.
  • Authentication logs and temporary verification records are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
  • Aggregated or anonymized analytics may be kept indefinitely.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, and to withdraw consent for non-essential processing. Some deletion requests may be limited by legal retention obligations.

8. Children

Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, role-based access controls, secure token storage on supported devices, server-side session checks, and limited data access practices. No system is perfectly secure, so users are responsible for protecting their devices and account access.

We may update this policy as our services evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice where appropriate.
